The following role is envisaged for the National Implementing Agency:

• Preparation of a detailed implementation and partnership strategy for this project;
• Preparation of log frame matrix, work plan and budget for the entire scope and duration of the project;
• Periodic reviews, preparation of annual work plans and budget;
• Preparatory/background work necessary for implementing the various activities under the project;
• Close monitoring of the project with reference to the work plans, including periodic reports of physical and financial progress; and
• Any other operational and substantive support that would be required for the project
